This internet site has been established by dealers for dealers, and provides an opportunity for Australian and New Zealand based antiques and collectables dealers to advertise their business and stock to the world.
Add Your Antiques or Collectables Business Details to Our Site, free of charge
- Full business name and address, landline and mobile numbers. Words must be entered in proper case ie not all uppercase. Punctuation to enhance your business name, alerts as to sales, containers arriving or hours open are not permitted in this section, but can be included in the description of your business.
- A link to your own Internet site, and your email address, if applicable.
- A description of your business of up to 35 words. This can include a brief history of the business, details of type of stock carried, or other information you consider important. Words must be entered in proper case ie not all uppercase.
- An image that represents your business. It may be an image of a stock item, the front of your shop, yourself, or your logo. Images formed as a display advertisement, for example of a sale are not permitted.
You Can Also Display items For Sale on the AntiquesPlus Site for a small charge
- You can display an unlimited number of stock items you have for sale in the AntiquesPlus Gallery, each with up to eight images.
- We have set up an AntiquesPlus prepaid wallet system for dealers who post items for sale in the AntiquesPlus gallery. You can purchase credit in the amounts of $25.00, $50.00, $100.00 or a nominated amount above $25.00 to add to your wallet. As you add items, the charge for each item will deducted from your wallet at our standard rate. Once the amount remaining in your wallet reaches a minimum figure, you 'll have to purchase additional credit to top up your wallet, before you can add further items.
- Funds will be added to your AntiquesPlus wallet through our Eway secure server link. If you do not have a credit card, or do not want to process charges via the internet, you can contact us to make arrangements to add funds to your AntiquesPlus wallet either by cheque or authorising us to manually process your credit card.
- There is no need to resize images before uploading, as our system will automatically resize your images to internet display size. However if either the height or width of an image is less than 900 pixels, you will receive a message that the image size is too small.
- Our per item charges are based on the advertised selling price (ticket price) of each item you add. For items added as pairs or sets, the full price of the set must entered as the advertised selling price. Any subsequent increase in price after the item has been added will incur an additional charge being the difference between the original charge and the charge applicable at the revised ticket price.
- After 12 months the item will be removed and you will be sent an email advising you the item has been removed, and giving you the option over the next 90 days of reinstating the item for a further 12 months.
- Reinstated or extended items will be charged to your AntiquesPlus account at the standard rate, and will be displayed on the AntiquesPlus site for a further 12 months.
- Reinstated items will be featured on the front page of the site, as if the item was newly listed.

* Some dealers prefer not to display a selling price, and these items are displayed on the site as 'Please refer to dealer'.
- You negotiate directly with the customer for sale of each item. We do not charge commission or selling fees on sold items.
- You have full control over the content of your business information and stock items details, through dealer access by username and password.
How Your Data Will Be Displayed
- Inclusion in the listing of antiques and collectables dealers in the geographic region in which your business is located.
- Your own 'Home Page' including your business details, the image of your business, links to your own site and a list of the categories in which you are offering items for sale.
- Inclusion in each of your items with a similar items from other dealers. Eg all your items classified as 'Marine Artefacts' will be included with items in that category from other dealers.
- A listing with short description and thumbnail image of all of your items for sale at any time.
- An Individual 'page' for each of your stock items with the full description and large image of the stock item.
- Once you have sold a stock item, please mark it as "Sold". For continuity, items marked as 'Sold" will continue to be displayed on the AntiquesPlus site for 7 days with the image greyed and "SOLD" displayed under the item. After 7 days, the sold item will no longer displayed. We know from user feedback that displaying sold items creates user annoyance. Items are automatically removed after twelve months, in order to keep the site fresh, but can be resinstated by the dealer if still available. We reserve the right to remove sold items.
