French apprentice childs dolls chair

French provincial walnut small sized chair dolls childs chair circa 1840 original patina. Good original polished wax patina finish. The seat retains its original woven and coloured rush seat with minor wear . Raised on turned front legs and matching turned stretchers with squared back legs in the traditional 17th century baroque manner. This rare sized sort of chair may have been made in the early 1800's as a travelling tradesman's sample or as an apprentice piece perhaps made for a child or dolls chair or your favourite teddy bear.
