Antique original solid walnut early 19th century desk table with a large single drawer fitted below the top.
Two gorgeous figurative slabs of solid walnut, not veneer, surrounded by walnut framed moulding. Raised on turned and reeded legs in the traditional Charles X manner of 1815-1830. The full width and depth drawer makes for practical storage and is hidden as part of the apron below the top.
It is most unusual to see the beautiful knotty walnut used in the solid as a table top so luxurious.
A beautiful warm polished patina finish is a value point.
