Original Empire wall mirror in flame mahogany rosewood and satinwood circa 1820. Well designed with architectural scroll pediment, turned pattaera and mouldings. The flame mahogany suface inlaid with satinwood marquetry stringing.
A central cartouche with flame mahogany and fielded panel surrounded by satinwood contrasting string inlay.
The original mirror glass is a value point.
Northern European 1820 in the Empire and neoclassic Biedermeier manner of the period and with original finish. Minor shrinkages across subframe timbers show original patina.
