Empire chest of drawers mahogany brass

Antique Empire flame mahogany chest of 4 drawers with gilt ormolu mounted turned legs and gilt brass ring pull handles and escutcheons. The top drawer with with original steel key to open in the traditional push/pull manner. Each of the graduated size drawers below with brass ring pull handles. Original patina to flame mahogany with book matched drawer fronts. The rounded corners are a lovely timless aesthetic with no sharp corners complimented by the turned legs with ormolu molded mounts and sabot feet. All drawers open very smoothly with all rails serviced. All original locks. 1830
