Georgian oak bureau desk chest 1780

Superb quality solid oak bureau desk on chest. This gorgeous provincial 18th century bureau with waxed finish with original locks and working keys The sloping writing top opens with a key and rests on two support struts with brass knobs. The interior fitted with 16 drawers with locking door central compartment. The top one opens with the original lock and key and is flanked by the desk top supports. Below this are four further drawers, the upper with carved grecian key pattern opens with a hidden key. The lower 3 opening with ornate brass ring pull handles. English or Dutch circa 1780
