A pair of Swedish Karl Johan period solid elm chairs . The backs with elegant curved back with four bars and central curved back splat. Each engraved with "Cheeky Monkey" design. The chairs are raised on elegant Empire style tapering legs to front and sabre legs to back. Original patina and finish A gorgeous satin silk upholstered lift off seats in the traditional Gustavian manner with embroidered design and powder duck egg blue satin stripes.
