Antique carved ivory and tortoiseshell jewell casket Ango Indian 1920's.
The dome top with engraved scrimshaw floral design and ornate pieced medallion. The traditional design or British Regency origin and made in the district known as Vizagapatam in Mardas Presidency of British India.
Each side of the box with tortoise shell covering with edged mounted and engraved ivory and with ivory clasps help by silver nails.
the whole raised on carved lions paw feet.
