Empire tall wall mirror gilt bronze 1825

Empire mahogany mirror with tranditional moustache top. Original patina to frame and original silvered glass - a value point as mirror glass manufacture was usually more expensive than the wooden frame that held them. The carved ornate shaped top over Roman shield inserto top with gilt ormolu mounts flanked by ormolu mounts. The cushion moulded frame that holds the original mirror glass with original silvered mirror glass with curved stepped base moulding mounted with gilt lions head bronze mounts. Below this is a fielded flame mahogany panel with gilt bronze mounts of superb quality.
