Impressive georgian writing desk bureau

An impressive antique English solid mahogany and oak writing desk in the Georgian Chippendale manner. Showing superb craftsmanship and carving this gorgeous bureau plat flat top desk with solid mahogany top and carved border. Directly below and hidden within the frieze, are two practical pull out extension slides. Five ornate framed flame mahogany drawers fitted with brass locks and 2 keys and Regency handles. Raised on traditional 18th century cabriole legs with delicate acanthus scroll knees and claw and ball feet. Polished all round in flame mahogany so it can stand in centre of a room.
