18th century blonde oak bureau desk

Antique Georgian bureau desk on chest. Beautifully fitted interior with 17 drawers in oak satinwood and marquetry and with original turned white knobs . The drop front desk opens with a steel key to reveal a writing surface of w 114cm D 57 cm and at a convenient height of 76cm. Below the fall front are four brass handled drawers with brass escutcheons and steel locks, complete with working steel key . Blonde oak in very solid condition and nicely waxed finish.
