Rare large ancient Greek antiquity terracotta bowl slipware two colour clay with black clay design over red slipware body. A traditional meander design with circular fields. The black ornamentation to the interior as well as underneath is very rare. The central field with column or pillar design. Bowls or dishes such as these are very rare , especially in this size and in complete unbroken condition. Sometimes referred to as Apulian ware of the classic Ancient Greek period. In very good condition for its age. Ancient Greek possibly 4th century Bc.
