set 6 large seat Regency chair 1810

Antique set of six Regency period dining chairs in mahogany. Raised on turned and reeded front legs and sabre back legs, the reeding continues up the lyre shaped backs and with concave back splat. Superb quality like this is very hard to find. The seat size is very generous, indicating a lordly prosperous origin with a seat size of : depth 45cm and seat height of 49 cm for modern dining requirements. Upholstered in horse hair woven fabric. Minor restorations in keeping with age and use with a beautiful patina polished finish. English Late Georgian 1810-1820.... priced as as a set of 6
