Antique Empire tallboy chest of six drawers with vertical flame mahogany veneers all book matched on a solid oak carcase. The top frieze drawer with moulded front and central ormolu cartouch bronze escutcheons. Key supplied with top drawer. It is hard to find an original finish patina chest with such good and desirable colour. All drawers have been serviced and run very smooth as silk, as you should expect from Antiques and Design Online, despite their heavy oak construction. An unusual feature is that the middle four drawers are bow fronted and flanked by full turned mahogany columns
