Tall blonde Swedish birch bookcase 1815

Antique original blonde Swedish satin birch cabinet of the early Karl Johan period. This superb piece of practical furniture is in completely original condition and is finished with a beautiful neoclassical shaped pelmet in Karelian birch. A truely impressive bookcase or storage cabinet of superior quality. It has all original locks and original french polished finish. Traditional steel keys are used to open the cupboard doors and drawers in the push pull method to retain minimalist exterior design heavily influenced by the French Empire style.
