French Empire tallboy Chest of 7 drawers

Superb antique French Empire Tall chest of drawers known as a semainier or tallboy, with fire gilt bronze ormolu escutcheons on book matched flame mahogany pyramid grained veneers. Seven drawers all move very smoothly glides and runners have been serviced replaced for decades of trouble free usage . The fine frame molded top with matching architectural elements so beloved in the neoclassical and Biedermeier era. Each drawer with original lock and individual steel keys opens in the traditional push pull manner. French Circa 1820
