The cararra marble top currounded by an engine turned and pierced brass gallery and raised on a turned ebony column with carved ivory rings.
The tripartite ebony base with ornate inlay scrollwork in ivory and olive wood banding.
Raised on Regency reeded feet.
Good original polished patina finish.
Attributed to the unique work of Milanese F. Pogliani (1832-1899) was highly regarded for his supperb works in ebony with contrasting ivory inlays in the renaissance manner.
