Antique Gustavian Swedish 18th century chest of drawers in mahogany with brass mounts & inlay Stockholm circa 1780 All drawers open very smoothly and all locks have been serviced and work well. The Gustavian period drew its influence from French Louis XVI and English Georgian designs of the later 18th century. This classic chest with four drawers with canted corners and tapering legs all with precision brass inlay and mounts most likely from the Eskiltuna workshops. Top drawer is fitted with drop down front and lots of internal drawers ideal for jewellery and other treasures. Sweden 1780
