19th Century Walnut Hall Seat

A substantial 19th century carved walnut settle or hall seat attributed to S. Mayfield & Sons, Adelaide. This piece features a beautifully carved and panelled back, complemented by a fully gadrooned base. The seat conveniently lifts up to reveal a spacious storage compartment. In very good, detailed condition. Circa 1890.
