French vintage Empire chest of drawers

Vintage French mid century chest of drawers in the Empire manner with brass mounts & burl veneer fronts. The blonde mahogany body with well polished top over two short drawers that open with a working keys to brass locks. Below this are three further drawers flanked by pilaster columns with brass mouldings. All drawer fronts are veneered vertically in burl ash elm veneers to enhance the luxury of this chest. Complete with original brass ring pull handles brass and escutcheons. The whole raised on elegant tapering legs. Late 20th century in the French Empire manner
