Charles II oak chest of drawers 1680

Antique English Charles II oak chest of drawers with pegged joints brass handles and gorgeous patina circa 1680. The 1/4 sawn oak chest with a light golden colour with moulded top over two short drawers and three full width drawers. Well finished in burnished and wax polished finish. Complete with ornate Georgian brass pull handles brass, escutcheons and brass locks. Pegged joints and back to front run drawer bottoms are all a mark of originality or the age. Of course this chest has seen service for over 400 years so has had minor restorations. English Charles II 1660-1685.
