Tall Empire hall mirror 1820 Danish

Antique Danish Empire mahogany mirror with tranditional carved acanthus pediment shaped top. The carved neoclassical mount to a fielded panel flanked by acanthus carved corinthian columns. Original patina to mahogany frame and with original silvered mirror glass- a value point as antique mirror glass was usually more expensive than the wooden frame that held them. A stepped frame to the base finishes this gorgeous mirror well. Original silvered mirror glass. Good original condition and patina. Scandinavian circa 1820 Overall Dimensions Height 153 cm Width 62cm
