Antique Georgian small satinwood drop side table ebony inlaid marquetry taper legs England circa 1790.
The table top in satinwood veneers and an oval inlaid cartouche in birch all edged with rosewood. Two extension drop down leaves with hidden hinges fold upwards and are supported by swing out arms under the top.
The table base in satinwood with ebony string inlay on tapering legs with spade feet.
Of unusually small size this elegant table may have been an apprentice piece or specially bespoke made for a silver tea urn or was intended for holding a candelabra or lamp.
