Swedish iron bound chest 18th century

Original antique Swedish 18th century pine and iron bound chest with working lock and key dated 1761. Rare to find outside of Sweden and uUsually given to the newly wedded couple this marriage chest has the year of 1761 cut into the ornate iron bindings. Made from only three pieces of pine the top is cut from one large pine slab and carved hollow on the inside. The side walls are made from a single piece of pine steamed into shape then fastened and stitched together . Dalarna Sweden 1761
