French marquetry bureau plat ladies desk

Superb quality antique French Louis XV I marquetry bureau plat writing desk with black leather top and three drawers from Paris circa 1880. The solid desk top with gilt tooled leather top with three drawers below. Each opens with the same key and have working locks. The mahogany and satinwood marquetry is adorned with gilt bronze ormolu mounts of the highest quality in the manner of Francois Linke with their original mercurial gilt surfaces.
