French Louis XV gilt console hall table

Antique French Louis XV giltwood rococo console hall table with ornate scroll carved support serpentine giltwood top. The gold leafed top with serpentine edge over an ornate cavred shell and rococo base raised on two elegant cabriole legs. An excellent console or hallway table with gorgeous curved appeal. The base is carved from solid walnut and with gold leaf finish whilst the top also with gold leaf finish, may have been a later support or replacement for a marble surface.
