Superb quality mahogany cylinder front desk with fitted interior. Antique Empire mahogany cylinder roll top bureau writing desk with fitted drawers and column fronts. This beautiful piece of neoclassical furniture dates from around 1890 and is the ultimate in a Biedermeier or Empire revival bureau writing desk with the gorgeous patina and cylindre top. The pull out desk with fitted interior and slide out writing surface. It is beautifully veneered in vertical matched pyramid flame mahogany. Fitted interior drawers still retain their original ivory knobs. Original Danish original 1880's
