Large antique French Louis XVI giltwood bergere armchair upholstered upholstered in vintage sage green toile and very comfortable circa 1840's A large seat marquise armchair bergere with upholstered sides. The Marquise is a wider seat chair for the more prosperous seating capacity! This armchair is mid 19th century French and still retain the original water gilt gold leaf finish - a value point as it is real gold! The frame is nice and sturdy and could easily be upholstered in your favourite fabric if required as the sub upholstery is in very good condition. Spring seat for extra comfort.
