Regency Campaign chest brass inlaid 1810

Antique British Empire Regency campaign chest of 5 drawers with inlaid brass handles and brass escutcheons circa 1810. The Campaign chest made in two sections that rest on top of each other. This military design was for compact carrying on to expeditions and campaigns that require storage furniture. All timbers are hand sawn and have brass campaign handles and ornate inalid brass escutcheons. The bottom chest rests on black ceramic and brass castors for easy moving. Wonderful warm waxed patina finish with all the original markings of many years of service. British Empire circa 1810
