Tables of these proportions did exist in 1810 in the Regency period hence these 20th century bespoke made piece that fits the designer's requirements for a pair of low lamp or bedside table . Polished right round so they can stand in the middle of a room. One drawer has string inlay in satinwood ...so you can tell left from right table.
