Pair of Empire petit bedside cabinets

Rare pair of antique petit bedside cabinets from the Art Deco Empire revival period circa 1910. Beautifully veneered in rare and highly figurative burl amboyna and french polished throughout. The original rouge marble tops with an elegant ormolu mounted drawer below. The open shelves for books and other toys retain their original french polished splendour. Very elegant and extremely useful this pair were made in France circa 1910. They are polished on three sides so can also be used as bedside lamp tables or feature pedestal stands for statues or sculpture or hallway cabinets.
