French gilt bronze animalier paperweight

Antique French animalier paperweight in gilt bronze ormolu as a statue of a dog mounted on chiseled bronze cushion signed stamped underneath base. Small paperweight statue of a chiseled bronze dog lying on a cushion. The original mercurial gilding is a value point. The signature under the cushion appears as with a star above the centre of the name and --Lang or maybe ---Aianc ...and the square nut covers the beginning of the name.
