Exceptional French Empire Revival Bed

An exceptional antique French Empire Revival queen size bed, finely crafted in beautifully figured amboyna burl and mahogany, inlaid with mother-of-pearl and foliate rosewood marquetry, finished with impressive ormolu mounts. France, circa 1900 -1910. In excellent restored condition. The original timber side rails and custom made slats are included. The height of the headboard measures 151.5cm and the height of the footboard is 87cm.
