French Empire rosewood bureau desk 1820

Rare French Empire Charles X period brazilian rosewood bureau en Abattant with fine birdseye fitted interior. The cabinet with shaped front drawer over fall frotn desk top. This opens with a key and is counter balanced with lead internal weights. The rosewood desk top with pull out writing drawer and well appointed shaped front drawers in blonde wood and ebony. Desk height is 76cm. Below the desk are three further shaped front drawers and all open very smoothly. Good original french polished patina Gold Bada seal of authenticity.
