Large Australian Colonial red cedar antique Regency dining table on heavy column lions paw feet 1835
The circular cedar top is made of only 2 massive cedar planks and is 121cm in diameter.
The top tilts upwards in the usual space saving manner. Rare hand forged wrought iron thumb bolts and a Georgian brass catch inderneath holds the top securely.
Raised on a massive solid turned column with three Regency legs with carved knees and lions paw feet.resting on white ceramic castors.
The table is in good original condition with a much sought after warm shellac patina polish.
