Campaign Chest of Drawers, antique, English of mahogany with secondaries of English oak.
Circa 1840.
A typical Campaign chest with early recessed brass handles and brass corners for protection. Comes apart into two manageable pieces with handles either side. This makes for ease of transport.
It also features screw in and out feet.
It has faux cockbeading, dust covers between drawers and is a lovely aged warm, honey colour.
The runners slide easily on the drawers.
Very small old repairs on one side.
