Antique Chippendale writing desk in the Georgian manner with black leather inlaid surface. This well made Georgian style Bureau Plat from the Edwardian period with 5 fretwork front drawers raised on well carved cabriole legs with acanthus scroll and claw and ball feet circa 1905.
The top with the original tooled black leather top inset into a red walnut frame. A central drawer with fretwork panels original brass lock and working key is flanked by 2 drawers each side have ornate cut fretwork fronts with brass handles and working locks.
