Regency writing desk table lyre mahogany

Vintage drop side writing table with lyre supports satinwood inlaid mahogany on antique Regency brass lions paw feet castors signed to drawer. Late Georgian Regency manner with flame mahogany top and cross banding edges and satinwood string inlay with two drop side ends. Raised on a two lyre form supports with brass rod strings in the Regency manner and on sabre leg supports.. Two drawers to one side and fully polished all round, this desk can stand in the centre of a room. The drawer is stamped Carlton Collection, High Wycombe, made in England.
