Venice watercolour original 1880 signed

Large Original watercolour painting of Venice by Deschamps in birdeye maple frame circa 1880's. The city of Venice can been seen in the subtle skyline of the horizon. Fishing and trading boats with their traditional sails as well as the signature steam ships. Vernon Deschamps is a pseudonym name used my Scottish born artist James Swinton Diston born in Edinburgh 1857. He studied and exhibited at at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Academy.
