well carved antique Art Deco Swedish armchair in carved solid birch with ornate bass relief carving and vintage upholstery. !930's Swedish birch chair with neoclassic carvings to low back and scroll armrests. The blonde birch with original stained walnut french polished finish in very good condition. This sturdy Art Deco period armchair has a large sprung upholstered seat of generous proportions. The low sleek back curves elegantly whilst the raised arms allow for easy access and support. The recently upholstery fabric and seat construction with hand stitched edges and rope edging.
