Original Tebbitt painting Blue Mountains

Large original antique watercolour painting by Henri Tebbitt of Govetts Leap in the Blue Mountains Nsw. Henri Tebbitt was born in Paris in 1852. He was a self taught artist and exhibited in the Royal Academy in 1884. Tebbitt travelled to Australia in 1889 and did a large quantity of work especially in watercolours of which this is one of those works. He returned to Europe for various exhibitions and emmigrated to Australia in 1903 and settled in Rose Bay Sydney. Tebbitts works were acquired by major city and state galleries throughout Australia. Signed lower right framed and under glass.
