Antique Colonial Australian cedar writing desk with 5 drawers gilt leather inlaid top raised on turned legs and brass and ceramic castors . Victorian 1865 The solid cedar top with a lovely inlaid gilt edge tooled green leather. A large central drawer with lock and working key. The desk is raised on unusual solid cedar turned legs that terminate in brass and ceramic castors. All drawers open very smoothly as glides have been serviced and waxed and replaced where needed. This writing desk is polished all round so it can stand in the centre of a room Legroom height is a generous 60cm tall
