Margaret Cilento's work is held in major public art galleries in Australia, including the Art Gallery of Nsw, Australian National Gallery, Queensland Art Gallery & National Gallery of Victoria. She won international prizes & studied at prestigious schools in New York, Paris & London. She worked with Rufino Tamayo at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, William Hayter's famous Atelier 17 in Ny & won a French Government scholarship to study at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
