Antique Danish Empire and classic early Biedermeier period mahogany chest of four drawers. The oak lined drawers of graduating sizes each with original working locks and 4 working keys . The top drawer with cross banded vertical mahogany front. The smooth elegance of this chest is enhanced with 1/2 columns to corners. Each drawer is opend by the easy push pull of the key to maintain the minimalist facade design. All drawer runners and glides have been well serviced/replaced where needed so they open very smoothly for many more decades. Empire bronze keyhole escutcheons to each drawer.
