French bureau plat desk sienna leather

Antique French Louis XVI mahogany Bureau Plat writing desk with brass mounts and mouldings and five drawers, two extension slides all with original sienna leathers. A good 18th century French Louis XVI style mahogany writing desk. The top with original pale sienna yellow gilt tooled leather insert in with a gorgeous patina - a value point. There are 2 useful extension slides with gilt leather inserts, one at either end of the desk just above the mahogany panels. The desk is fitted with 4 drawers. The drawers with bronze escutcheon open easily with the bronze keys supplied to working locks
