Tall Empire marquetry longcase clock rare grande sonnerie 7 day movement inlaid case gilt bronze face with roman numerals and Breguet steel hands. In good working order and with 3 weight suspension the 3 train movement with double silver bell strikes. The first train keeps the time pace, the second train strikes at 15 minute intervals and repeats the hour count, and the third train strikes the hour count. A complex masterpiece of mechanical engineering. A convex glass covers the gilt and engraved clock face. The Empire period case with marquetry in satinwood on flame mahogany.
