French Louis XVI Bureau Plat desk 1880

Antique French Louis XVI mahogany Bureau Plat writing desk with brass mounts and mouldings and five drawers, two extension slides all with original leathers. A good 18th century French Louis XVI style mahogany writing desk. The top with original green gilt tooled leather insert in with a gorgeous patina - a value point. There are 2 useful extension slides with gilt leather inserts, one at either end of the desk just above the plum pudding mahogany panels. The desk is fitted with 5 drawers. The drawers with bronze escutcheons and handles and a key to working to all locks. Paris 1880's
