Superb quality original mahogany cylinder front desk with fitted interior. This beautiful 1825 bureau secretaire is the ultimate in a Biedermeier writing desk. The cylinder top rolls back and the desk top pulls out smoothly with a desk height of 79cm . The desk drawer with legroom clearance of 68cm. Interior is fitted with several drawers with silver knobs and string inlay and various pull out compartments and slides. A leather writing surface to centre is flanked by two sliding document compartments. The desk is made in three sections for easy moving. North German 1825
