French gilt bronze winged angel statue on marble plinth with raised wings in the manner of Hermes.
The angel or Putto is well carved and cast in bronze. a pair of chiselled raised wings with crossed arms and in a running pose similar to the classic Hermes sculpture.
One foot raised the other on a ball signifying the Earth and resting on a star.
The figure is raised on a turned sienna marble pedestal base.
