Polished all round this canterbury with burl walnut top with gothic arched brass gallery resting on two ornate pierced walnut supports. These terminate to a substantial shaped base raised on turned legs.
The base has a hidden drawer and has two further divisions above also with matching carved fretwork.
The term "canterbury" refers to the a furniture item that stored sheet music and folios ...and later Lp records and magazines.
